As for his personal life, well, some sources say that he isn’t married yet, which could be wrong but we couldn’t tell you also because there is little to no information available online.

Professional Life And IPL Career

Vishnu made his professional debut in cricket in the year 2014, in which he played the T20 for Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. And sure enough, because of his good form, later that year, he made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his first appearance in first-class cricket in 2016, batting for the Ranji Trophy. He made his first Ranji century in 2018-19 and was the highest scorer for Kerala in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

In 2017, Royal Challengers Bangalore took him as an injury replacement, and he played a few matches in the IPL. He remained unsold in the next auctions till Delhi Capitals bought him at his base price for IPL 2021. In 2022, he moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad and remained with the Mumbai Indians in 2023 and 2024. Punjab Kings bought him ahead of IPL 2025 for ₹95 lakh, he is likely to be a wicketkeeper-batsman and middle-order finisher for the Punjab Kings, though, so far, we haven’t seen him play this season of the IPL. But certainly, he has got that potential and once he gets the chance to play for the team, he will perform to the best of his ability, no two ways about that.
