As of right now, Kunal Singh Rathore is just a 22-year-old who comes from Kota, Rajasthan. Because of how supportive his family is, he went on to pursue his passion for cricket, which he developed at a very young age. And look, after playing a lot of club cricket, first-class and List A matches, he has finally made it to the IPL with his great performance backing him up.
Professional Life and IPL Career
Kunal started to play competitive cricket for Rajasthan in 2022, and sure enough, that right there was the start of his professional cricket journey, one that took him to the IPL, and it could possibly be the reason why he’ll make his India debut in the future. But for now, just know that he made his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy and played one of his first big hundreds against Manipur. He scored quick runs and did some fine keeping behind the stumps in the one-day matches and the T20s. At the 2025 IPL auction, Rajasthan Royals purchased Kunal for ₹30 lakh. And sure enough, this year, he made his debut in the IPL against KKR at the Eden Gardens in May 2025.
