Personal Life
Well, at the age of just 29, Prasidh Krishna is doing pretty great in the world of cricket, especially for India. For those who don’t know, he actually comes from Bangalore. And yes, his family also loved cricket, and that is why it was kinda straightforward for him to be fond of this sport and excel in it too, like his dad, Murali Krishna, you know, he was a pace bowler for his college team, like super into cricket.
As for his personal life, well, Prasidh got married to Rachana Krishna in 2023, but so far, they do not have a kid from this marriage.
Professional Life and IPL Career
For those who don’t know yet, it was actually back in September 2015, Prasidh started his first-class career for Karnataka against Bangladesh A. And it was actually in this very match that he grabbed a whopping five wickets. Then, he went on to make his debut in shorter formats with a one-day debut for Karnataka on February 25, 2017. Looking at how good he was performing with his pace in these domestic games, it was actually Kolkata Knight Riders that gave him the chances to play for them, and so what he did from 2018 to 2021. Like, in 2021 and 2022, he did so well in the IPL that he even got picked up by the Indian team for ODI formats in 2021, and then he made his debut in Test as well as in T20 in 2023.
Talking about his IPL story specifically, well, he sure started off with KKR, then became part of the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022. But he didn’t play IPL 2023 and 2024, so it is actually his comeback in IPL 2025 with the Gujarat Titans this time.
