Personal Life

Professional Life and IPL Career
After proving his mettle in school cricket, he joined the Sri Lanka Army and began to represent the Army team in the domestic tournaments. Theekshana made his List-A debut in 2018 and soon garnered a reputation for his mystery off-spin and carrom-ball. Later in 2021, he made his T20I and ODI debut for Sri Lanka and started picking wickets by using clever variations and quick arm speed.
In the 2022 edition of the IPL auction, he was picked up by the CSK franchise, and he impressed with his ability to grab crucial wickets during the middle overs right away.
