Professional Life and IPL Career
Kwena got cricket going in local clubs in Johannesburg and started quickly showing talent as a left-arm fast bowler. Early in 2024, he and South Africa shone brightly in the Under-19 World Cup, where Kwena ended up taking a LOT of wickets and ended up as Player of the Tournament. After that, he went to play for the Lions in South African domestic cricket and then made his international debut for South Africa in a T20 game on August 23, 2024. Kwena made his debut in the Indian Premier League with the Mumbai Indians in 2024. In the 2025 IPL auction, he was purchased by the Rajasthan Royals for 1.5 crore rupees.
