First of all, his full name is Madagamagamage Dasun Shanaka, and he is actually a 1991-born who is 33 years old right now. Since cricket was a big thing in Sri Lanka back in the 1990s, that’s why growing up, he also loved to play cricket all the time with his friends, and that’s how he developed a crazy interest in the game. Well, it was actually for that we got a good international player for the Sri Lankan team.

Professional Life and IPL Career
It was actually back in 2015 when Dasun Shanaka made his T20 debut for the Sri Lankan international cricket team. And the very next year, he made his debut in ODI and Test formats as well. Like, in First Class cricket, he already has 4225 runs to his name with an impressive average of 43.11.

But back then, he only played in 3 matches and didn’t perform that well.
