Personal Life
Tushar Deshpande is a 29-year-old who comes from Mumbai because he was born and brought up there. And sure enough, as we all know how big of a thing or culture is down there in Mumbai, no wonder Tushar grew up loving cricket.

Professional Life and IPL Career
In 2018, Tushar started playing first-class cricket for Mumbai, India. He impressed early on in List A and first-class cricket, which led to his international T20 debut in July 2024. He represented Delhi Capitals in the IPL for the first two years of his career. He switched teams in 2022, joining the Chennai Super Kings as an established “Impact Player.” From there on, he played 3 seasons for CSK, and performed super well. Like, just look at his state in these years. Sure, in IPL 2022, he only played in 2 matches for the CSK franchise, but when he got the full chance the very next year, he went on to take 21 wickets in that entire season and quite literally became one of the highest wicket takers for CSK. And this form continued in IPL 2024 as well, where he took 17 wickets in just 13 matches. So, no wonder, when in mega auctions for IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals saw the opportunity, they bought him for ₹6.5 crore. Considered an excellent fast bowler, he has claimed several match-turning wickets for his teams.
