Professional Life And IPL Career
Riyan had made his professional debut for Assam in the Ranji Trophy of 2016-17 when he was just 15 years old. In 2018, however, he rose to giant importance as part of an Under-19 World Cup-winning setup in India, which gave him confidence on the big stage.
Rajasthan Royals bought Riyan for ₹20 lakh in the 2019 IPL auction. At 17 years and 175 days, he became the youngest player to shoot an IPL half-century.
