Arshdeep Singh is just a 26-year-old who has already made his India debut back in 2022. Though a lot of people think that he is from Punjab, but nah, he was actually born in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, and he grew up near Chandigarh with his parents, an elder brother, and a sister. Arshdeep first came into the limelight when he was part of India’s under-19 team that won the World Cup in 2018. He went on to be part of the winning team of India in the 2024 T20 World Cup and in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
In the Indian Premier League, Arshdeep was chosen by the Punjab Kings at the auction of 2019. In the span of six seasons with the team, he graduated to be their first-choice fast bowler.By early 2025, he had played in 75 matches and picked up 89 wickets, thus becoming Punjab Kings’ all-time leading wicket-taker. Prior to the 2025 season, Punjab Kings exercised a Right to Match card to retain him for ₹18 crore, showing his worth as a death-overs specialist.
