Personal Life
He looks super young, though, don’t let that fool you, he is already 31 years of age. That’s because he is a 1993-born and he comes from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He comes from a typical struggling middle-class family, but to pursue his cricket dreams, he actually moved to Bengaluru.
And just recently, he got married to Moon Dubey, and they already have a cute daughter from this marriage who goes by the name Skye Dubey.
Professional Life and IPL Career
Praveen Dubey began his professional career by playing for the Karnataka team in domestic cricket. He made his List A debut in December 2015, and then made his T20 debut in January 2018, followed by his debut in first-class format in January 2020. The first time he entered the IPL was in 2016, when he was sold at the auction to Royal Challengers Bangalore. He continued with Royal Challengers Bangalore till the end of the season in 2017. In 2020, Delhi Capitals called him as a replacement and featured him in the important matches for the playoffs. He continued with Delhi Capitals until 2024, and ahead of the 2025 season, Punjab Kings signed him at his base price of ₹30 lakhs. His clever Legbreak Googly bowling has made him a valuable asset in the shortest format.
