Personal Life

You must have seen him play for the Tamil Nadu team in domestic cricket, right? Well, that’s just because he was actually born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Because of his father’s job, when he was very little, his family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, and that’s where he played club cricket and even took part in leagues like the Hong Kong Super Sixes tournament.

Talking about his love life specifically, well, he isn’t married yet, but could be in a relationship with someone, though we don’t know that for sure.

Professional Life And IPL Career

Siddharth made it into domestic cricket playing for Tamil Nadu. He played his first Twenty20 match on November 22, 2019, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and made a significant impact by dismissing the likes of Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav. He made his first-class debut for the Ranji Trophy on December 9, 2019, and List-A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on February 20, 2021. Left-arm slow orthodox bowling coupled with the ability to swing the ball did draw attention toward him.

In the 2020 IPL auction, he went to the Kolkata Knight Riders but did not get a game that season. The next season, he was picked by Delhi Capitals, but he sat on the bench yet again. Sid remained undeterred, working on other variations and perfecting the arm ball. He was bought by the Lucknow Super Giants in the 2024 auction and, on March 30, 2024, made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings. He bowled three overs, taking one wicket. He played five matches in the 2025 IPL season, taking three wickets. Siddharth keeps learning and hopes to leave a good impression for LSG in the coming seasons.
