Personal Life
Shashank Singh surely had a late start in IPL because right now, he is already 33 years old. Though he comes from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, where he actually grew up loving cricket and then, because of his passion for the game, his family moved to Mumbai. And that is precisely where he got professional training and tried his luck in different formats of the game. We’ll come to that later.

Shashank started domestic cricket in Mumbai, making his List A debut in 2015 and his first-class debut just two years later. He had initially joined Delhi Daredevils in 2017 for the Indian Premier League, later transferring to Rajasthan Royals until 2021 and spending a season with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2022. In 2024, he was picked up by Punjab Kings and carved a name for himself with quick hitting and big hitting acts to help the franchise win close games.
