He doesn’t look too old, but he’s actually a 30-year-old fast pace bowler, who’s also married to his long-time partner, Connie Edwards. Though they do not have kids yet from this marriage, or it seems like this because they have not reported it publicly. From the looks of it, Nathan seems like a chill personality who likes to spend time with friends and family, we know, it sounds kinda cliche or pretty basic, but that’s how it is for him.
Professional Life And IPL Career
It is not like Nathan Ellis appeared in the international cricket team of Australia all of a sudden, nah, he has been playing in the top-level domestic cricket in the country since 2018. Though it was actually in the Big Bash League that we saw him bowl the first time in front of a large audience, and he made his debut in 2018 for Hobart Hurricanes.
After doing kinda great in BBL and in first-class cricket, he finally got the chance to play for Australia in the T20 format against Bangladesh, and it was back in August 2021. And can you even believe the fact that in his very first T20 match playing for Australia, he took a hat-trick? That’s what made him a top choice for Australia ever since.
And looking at his performance in International T20s for Australia and in BBL, Punjab Kings went for him in the IPL Auctions in 2022, though that season went kinda cold for him. But now, he’s back at it again, this time with CSK’s team, again in a yellow jersey, and he is doing somewhat decent this season of the IPL.
