But the thing is, he has been doing super well in the domestic cricket circuit, and he is actually the current captain of the Uttar Pradesh team in the Ranji Trophy. Personal Life
The fact that he plays for the Uttar Pradesh team in domestic cricket must have given it off that he was born and brought up in UP, right? Well, that’s true, and he is actually a 2001-born. Though it isn’t like he was struggling or something, his family is already in a good condition, as both of his parents are doctors. So, growing up, he developed a passion for cricket and went on to pursue it even further.
Talking about more personal stuff, well, he isn’t married yet, but we didn’t find any information regarding his girlfriend or any relationship he has been in.
Professional Life and IPL Career
He has been playing for the Uttar Pradesh team for a long time, like playing in the age groups of Under-14, Under-16, and Under-19 sides. It was actually in 2017 when he started playing high competitive level domestic cricket, like in Vinoo Mankad Trophy and then made his debut in Vijay Hazare Trophy as well. And just in case you didn’t follow, you see, in 2018, he was picked for India’s Under-19 World Cup squad. Right now, though, he is doing super well in List A matches as well as in first-class cricket. Like, combined in both, he already has 11 centuries to his name, with 201 being his highest score in first-class cricket.
And it isn’t his first time in IPL too, like, he was part of the Mumbai Indians team back in 2022, though he learned a lot there, but didn’t get to play any matches for them. In IPL 2025, we’re now seeing him in the LSG squad, and once again, he isn’t getting a chance to play this season either, so he is yet to make his debut in IPL.
