Professional Life and IPL Career
Cricketer Yuzvendra began his career by playing for Haryana in Indian domestic competitions, then played for the India Under-19 team and then made his senior debut in 2016. Chahal bowls leg spin and is particularly famous for his googly. India has benefited from his taking crucial wickets in ODIs and T20Is, having been the first Indian to have taken six wickets in a T20I.
In the Indian Premier League, Chahal started with the Mumbai Indians from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 to 2021, he spent eight seasons with Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he emerged as a premier wicket-taker. Before the 2022 season, Chahal joined the Rajasthan Royals and helped them get to yet another final. In 2025, he shifted to the Punjab Kings. Without a doubt, he is the highest wicket taker in the history of IPL with 218 wickets already taken, and yes, that counts his recent hat-trick against CSK and that 5 wicket haul against KKR this season.
